Quattro Pensions is a friendly, flexible, ambitious company looking for a Senior Pensions Administrator to join their expanding PPF team.

The ideal candidate should be highly numerate and be comfortable undertaking manual and computer-generated pension calculations and completing project work to set deadlines and provide support to the Team Leader and Managerial Team as and when required. Support is provided for PMI examinations.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail are essential

  • Intermediate Excel skills

Quattro Pensions is a friendly, flexible, ambitious company looking for a part qualified or a recently qualified actuary to join their expanding team.

The successful applicant will work with a wide range of trustee clients of varying scheme types and sizes, and ideally have experience of producing funding valuations, S179 valuation, calculating CETVs, FRS102 disclosures etc.  There are also options to specialise in the PPF side of the business. 

Full study support would be provided and we would also welcome applicants who have decided not to continue with the actuarial exams.

Quattro Pensions is a friendly, flexible, ambitious company looking for a university graduate looking for an entry to actuarial work.

The successful applicant will ideally have a degree at class 2:1 or higher in a numerate subject and excellent written and verbal communication skills. We also welcome industrial placement year students. You will be self-motivated, organised, and work well in a team.

The role would be based either in our team helping schemes going through a Pension Protection Fund Assessment or in our ongoing schemes team.

There are a number of vacancies, either permanent or fixed term. We anticipate that the fixed term role may lead to a permanent position subject to satisfactory performance and continued growth of the business. Study support is provided to permanent staff wishing to study for the actuarial exams (FIA or CAA).

We are seeking a bright and engaging Payroll Professional to join our busy Payroll team.

Responsibilities

  • Duties will involve processing pension payrolls on behalf of numerous pension schemes
  • Dealing with annual increases, RTI submissions, end of year returns
  • Liaison with HMRC
  • Dealing with enquiries from pensioners and their representatives
  • Tax calculations
  • Dealing with all payroll processes in respect of deceased members, ensuring returned payments are dealt with and records are closed in a timely manner
  • Setting up new pensioners, and when required calculating arrears
  • Dealing with insurance companies and insured annuities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a payroll position
  • Client ‘facing’ responsibilities would be desirable
  • Pensions knowledge would be desirable
  • Proficient in Sage 50 payroll, excel and word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail are essential
  • The ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines with the ability to prioritise work
  • Ideally possess a strong Maths GSCE/A-Level

We are seeking a bright and engaging Pension Scheme Accountant.

You will be responsible for the production of scheme accounts in line with the current SORP.  You will working in a small team preparing and checking scheme reports for a portfolio of ongoing and PPF pension schemes. 

You will work closely with clients, administrators, investment managers and auditors taking responsibility for the reconciliation of investments, contributions and benefits paid, ensuring the timely preparation of statutory pension scheme accounts through to audit sign off.

If you have previous pension scheme accounts experience and are looking for a refreshing change, this could be the role for you.  Sound technical skills are essential together with excellent communication skills.  Accounting qualifications are desirable.

The ideal candidate should be highly numerate and be comfortable undertaking manual and computer-generated pension calculations and completing project work to set deadlines. You will be responsible for communicating with clients, attending client meetings, corresponding with their members and advisors. You will work in a small team where you will be expected to check work of your colleagues to ensure accuracy, adherence to procedures and legislation within the Standard Level Agreements. You should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word and be able to demonstrate sound organisational skills. A minimum of 2 years Defined Benefit experience is essential. PPF pension administration experience will be an advantage but full training will be given.
